Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is mended with gold or silver, Worn is an exquisite and emotive dance, that explores how the body is affected by the experiences, marks and scars that make us who we are. Worn is choreographed and performed by acclaimed duo, Errol White and Davina Givan. White and Givan’s trademark strong physical presence, dynamic and tender choreography engages on both a physical and emotional level and asks very relevant questions about the acceptance of transience and imperfection in our current Instagram culture.

Errol White and Davina Givan established White & Givan in 2009. They have been performing together for over twenty years and choreographing together since 2007. Together they have created three acclaimed, full length works: Three Works (2009), IAM (2012/14), and Breathe (2014/16). White & Givan have been University of Edinburgh Artists in Residence & Exchange Fellows (2015) and Associated Artists of the Traverse Theatre. They have undertaken a range of choreographic commissions and Movement Direction for Traverse and Lyceum Theatres, Edinburgh and Imagine If Theatre, Leeds. In 2019, White & Givan were mentors for Dance Base Debs Programme.
