Simon Thacker’s Svara-Kanti unites India, Bangladesh and the UK in its powerful incarnation expanding on the mystical Bengali Baul folk tradition. Scottish classical guitarist/composer Simon Thacker unites with Bangladeshi Baul singer Farida Yesmin, Indian singer and khomok virtuoso Raju Das Baul, and tabla player Kolkata’s Sunayana Ghosh for an evening of gorgeous World Music.
