Northern Flyway: Inge Thomson & Jenny Sturgeon (music and visuals) Sun 30th Sept, 8pm

Sunday, September 30, 2018, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

This musical journey explores the connection between people and birds. Set against a lush evocative skyscape of bird images it is an intense and visceral audio-visual experience. Inge and Jenny are joined by multi-instrumentalist Sarah Hayes (Admiral Fallow) and vocal sculptor Jason Singh. Fuelled by Sturgeon’s background as a biologist and Thomson’s home turf of the Fair Isle, Northern Flyway delves into the ecology and folklore of birds and birdsong and the themes of migration, and humanity’s relationship with nature. This event is part of the Findhorn Bay Festival.
