Nomadland (film) Sat 24th July, 7.30pm

Saturday, July 24, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

A woman embarks on a journey in her campervan through the modern American West after losing everything during the recession. Exploring an unconventional life as a modern-day nomad, Fern discovers a resilience and resourcefulness unlike any she’s known before. Starring Frances McDormand, this film won the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress awards in this year’s Academy Awards. Rating 12: Runtime: 108m Screened with subtitles.

Covid prevention measures will include the auditorium being set up for social distancing with a one way system.  Regarding face coverings we will follow the Scottish government guidance namely – it is mandatory to wear face coverings in cinemas, although there are exemptions for certain people and it is a reasonable excuse to remove a face covering when you need to eat and drink. If you wear a face visor/shield you are asked to also wear a face covering as a visor is not considered to offer sufficient protection. In our auditorium we don’t allow food and drink other than water so please only remove a mask if you are sipping water. If you are coming as separate bubbles please book your tickets separately. For example if you have 4 tickets in one booking we will sit you all together. Please let us know (via uhallpromo@gmail.com) if you have access issues. If necessary we can seat people on the floor area without having to negotiate steps.

£7 adults, £5 U16’s tickets must be bought in advance online. Click here to buy.
