Coronavirus Prevention

Please note that all public events (shows and films) in the Universal Hall are now cancelled at least until July. We will review the situation nearer the time to look at film screenings in the summer but this will be dependant on Scottish Government guidelines about social distancing. For refunds see below. Check here for latest updates- information may change at short notice. The Hall Office is now closed so we are not monitoring the phone. Refunds

If you have already bought tickets for events in May (or before) then you can get a refund. Online refunds are actioned automatically and you can see which shows are cancelled by scrolling through the events below

Online tickets: The online seller wegottickets.com will automatically refund to the card you bought with.

Tickets bought in the Phoenix: Take them back to the Phoenix and they will refund. You do not have to get the refund before the date of the show.

 

Tickets held for future events

We are still not sure when we will be able to host events though do we have some ticket availability for much later in the year - see below.

If an event is cancelled you will get a refund as above. No tickets are available to buy in the Phoenix at present - see below for online options.

Indigenous People (music and dance) Sat 2nd Sept, 8pm

With the same performers on stage as Friday night the emphasis will be on audience participation, in the dance which will be using western ‘free’ styles of moves learned with the Africans during the day’s workshops. (However it is not necessary to have attended the workshops to come to this evening event). Kakatsitsi are renowned for their accessible and funky dance grooves, so if you enjoy a good dance and like the idea of participating alongside some Bushmen from the Kalahari, this event’s for
you!
