Peter Vallance regularly tells stories at Celtic Festivals that celebrate the seasons and as his Grandfather ran away to sea at the age of 12 he has always been fascinated by the lure of the ocean. As Artistic Director of Universal Hall he has hosted storytellers such as Stanley Robertson, Sheila Stewart, Laura Simms and Brother Blue.

Carol Scorer is a storyteller, performer, percussionist and teacher born in the North East of England and has lived in the North East of Scotland for the last 26 years. She tells stories from around the world and is particularly interested in the spark of the oral tradition. Her stories are often interwoven with rhythm and music.

Margot Henderson is a Scots Irish poet, storyteller and community artist. Her work weaves together poetry, song and story, celebrating culture, roots and heritage, affirming our belonging to the natural world. She has performed widely in the UK and elsewhere creating performance pieces for festivals, conferences and cultural events including The Wild World Over, Is This It and Tae Absent Friends.
