Winter 2017/18

Details of some of the concerts and films in winter 2017/8 are now posted below - scroll down to reveal.  All films will be £5 entry (one price) and all will have subtitles in English as a policy for this season – even those shot in English. This is to give access to those with some hearing loss and to a sizeable minority in our audience who have English as a second language. But of course we encourage those of you with normal hearing to attend and support this inclusive plan. Red Riding Hood’s Magic Purse (children’s theatre) Sat 14th April, 2pm

Part of the Puppet Animation Festival and presented by Clydebuilt this is a classic story told with a difference. Favourite characters abound – an adventurous Red Riding Hood, an independent Granny (home at last from her trip round the world), and of course the wonderful Wicked Wolf, who plans to have Granny for lunch and Little Rosie for afternoon tea! Find out how Red Riding Hood’s Magic Purse saves the day in this gentle show for young audiences. Rod puppets and shadow theatre combine with original music and sounds bring this ever-popular story to life. Age Guidance:
