Luke Daniels – Polyphon Chronicles (music) Wed 13th Sept, 7.30pm

Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Award-winning singer and composer, Luke Daniels, brings his unusual new show to the Universal Hall for the first time. The performance includes his Electrophon machine, that combines Victorian clockwork engineering with digital audio, and used by Luke to create beautifully songs and intriguing instrumental music. This year he performed at Celtic Connections Festival and played an official showcase at the US Folk Alliance Conference in Kansas City. Together with his Electrophon Luke creates a night of outstanding acoustic songs and intriguing instrumental music. (Please note that Luke was due to be joined by Scottish harpist Gillian Fleetwood, and it says as much in our printed Good Gig Guide, but Gillian broke her arm recently and will be unable to play. We wish her a speedy recovery).
